Founded in 1923 in Callenelle in Belgium, Saluc S.A. created the brand Aramith which became over the years the reference billiard ball around the world.
Now one can wonder how the people in this factory located in a small village in the countryside became the world leading billiard ball manufacturers.
Behind the Aramith success, it is the story of highly skilled and dedicated craftspeople in a fully-integrated facility who guarantee excellence and consistency in every product made available on the market.

Aramith still remains today the only brand which is 100% Belgian: from the design and production of our phenolic resin to the manufacturing of the billiard balls.

A unique manufacturing process
All the Aramith balls are developed and manufactured in our factory in Callenelle following the highest standards in the industry.
Because our manufacturing standards are much higher than any other brands on the market, our team of engineers has to constantly develop new pieces of machinery and equipment to deliver the highest-quality products.
Our manufacturing process includes 13-steps going from the production of our raw materials, to the casting and curing, to our unique grinding polishing technology.
For each step, state-of-the-art technology continuously monitors the output to guarantee the most stringent tolerances and specifications.

Technology cannot replace people. And what makes Aramith stand out from any other brands on the market is the experience and expertise passed on to our craftspeople from generations to generations.
Regardless of all the automated and statistical controls we use during our manufacturing process, every single ball is still checked manually to ensure the exact same level of excellence and consistency from one ball to another.
